Renee is a self-motivated, confident and result oriented individual with a passion for excellence. She commenced her banking career in October 1998 at Johnsons Savings and Loans Ltd., now First Trust Savings and Loans Ltd where she worked in different roles as a front liner. She later joined Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Ltd. as a Relationship Manager.
Her experiences in Relationship Management includes Personal Banking, Retail Banking and Business Banking. Her passion is to excite and exceed customer’s expectations. She joined Golden Link Savings and Loans Ltd in October 2016 as Head of Business Development and Corporate Affairs. She has handled different roles in Golden Link which includes Head of Recoveries and AG Head of Human Resources. She holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Banking and Finance), both from the Central University College.
Caroline, Head of Operations, joined Golden Link Savings & Loans Ltd. from the Agricultural Development Bank where she began her banking career in 1995. She has a wealth of experience in Banking Operations and brings to the role a deep understanding of Consumer, Commercial, Up-market and bespoke customer service (Private Banking Clients). She has a proven track record for driving results and reversing trends of underperforming branches to “star” performance.
Caroline graduated from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) with an Executive MBA. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana and has participated in Securities courses at the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Kwaku has over 16 year’s managerial experience in Banking and Finance. He also has a cross sectorial experience in inventory & quality control, shipping and handling, real estate, accounting, taxation.
In Ghana, he has worked with firms such as Pentax Consultancy, and First Allied Savings & Loans Company (FASL) as Head of credit. He is a certified expert in Microfinance and SME financing. Prior to joining Golden Link Savings and Loans Ltd in October, 2019, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Pan African Savings and Loans (PASL), Ghana.
Kwaku was instrumental in the business and branch expansion that made FASL a leading Savings and Loans institution in Ghana before his exit in 2011. As the Chief Operating Officer at PASL, he oversaw the expansion of the company from 5 to 16 and in the process, making the institution a member of the prestigious Ghana Club 100.
He graduated as magna cum laude from the DeVry University before he obtained an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Before delving into finance, he graduated from the University of Ghana with a Diploma in Theatre Arts with a specialization in Technical Directing. He is a Boulder Institute of Microfinance Graduate and a SEEP conference participant. Also, Kwaku has attended several work and professional related seminars, conferences, and trainings both locally and internationally.
Among his expertise are the creation of a Digital Financial Services solution in promoting financial inclusion, agricultural financing for smallholder cocoa farmers, product development, financial inclusion and capacity building. He is a lay preacher with the Prisons Ministry, Ghana, an adjunct lecturer in accounting and finance, and the former Chairman of the Ghana Association of Savings and Loans Companies (GHASALC), and a former Board member of the Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) where he also acted as the Chairman.
Kwakye has built a wealth experience in Information Technology and Banking and Finance spanning about 7 years. He started his career with JPIT as IT Head, joined IPMC as Senior Database Engineering Lecturer and later joined Seed Funds Savings and Loans as a Database Administrator in which he grew into the Acting Head of IT.
He worked as a team Leader, innovator and contributor to all respective departments in the organization. Since joining Seed Funds Savings and Loans he gathered deep understanding of all the rudiments of modern day banking with technology. He has worked in various capacities in E-banking, Business Development, Credit Risk Management, Finance, Audit and Compliance, MIS and Strategy Planning.
He holds an MBA in MIS from WIUC and BSc in IT from MUCG, certified by Oracle and also has an HND from NIIT. With much exposure from his working history he is a professional in IT strategic management, programming, database administration, IT auditing, networking and systems administration.
Prior to Joining Golden Link Savings and Loans Limited, James was the Head of Credit of Global Access Savings and Loans Limited.
Mr. Opoku has over 16 years of considerable and valuable experience in Credit Management and Project Analysis. As former Head of Credit of the corporate branch (CEDI HOUSE) of ADB, he is reckoned to have supervised and led the Credit Team in achieving the objectives and targets of the Unit, which included increasing and developing a healthy portfolio through prudent lending practices and effective Monitoring and Recovery.
He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Mr. Opoku is also holds a banking part I certification from Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana (ACIB), and A Certified Risk Analyst (CRATM) from the International Academy of Business and Financial Management. He is also a Certified Credit Administrator by the National Banking College, Ghana and holds a Certificate of Achievement in Project Management from Merjja Technologies, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
As Head of Credit, James is responsible for the entire spectra of Credit management and administration process at Golden Link.
Daphne is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and holds an Honors Degree in Sociology and Political science from the University of Ghana. Daphne’s areas of expertise are Financial and Management Reporting, Risk Management, Process Reviews and Re-engineering, Internal and External Auditing.
She has also provided Advisory Services in the areas of process reviews and documentation, process improvement assignments, and due diligence for government institutions and clients both in the Private and Public Domain.
Daphne also worked for seven years as Chief Accountant for Intercity STC Coaches Limited where she obtained extensive working experience in the transport industry. She also has auditing and accountancy experience at PKF Accounting and Business Advisors, where she rose through the ranks to Audit Manager.
Before joining the GLICO GROUP as the Group Accountant in February 2012, she worked for a year as a Consultant for two subsidiaries of The GLICO GROUP, namely: KAK Investment International and Millennium Real Estate Limited.
Daphne was very instrumental in securing a banking license from the Central Bank to operate as Golden Link Savings and Loans Limited where she currently serve as the Deputy Managing Director
